What is the Cult?

Welcome to the Cult of the Dead Rabbit

Despite the name, the Cult of the Dead Rabbit isn't actually a cult.

It's a private, exclusive, adult social community built around something surprisingly simple: good people, good conversations, good times, and a place where you can actually get to know the people you're talking to.

Founded in 2021, the Cult began with a small group of Discord users who wanted something different from the typical online community. Instead of thousands of anonymous users, endless scrolling, and conversations that disappear as quickly as they begin, the Cult was designed around real interaction and genuine community.

Small by Design

The Cult isn't trying to become the biggest Discord community on the internet.

Quite the opposite.

Membership is intentionally limited to 333 active members. That limit exists to preserve the character of the community and ensure that members aren't simply another username in a crowd.

Here, people know each other.

You don't have to compete for attention with thousands of people. You can drop into a voice channel, start a conversation, join a game, share a story, or simply hang out.

Small is the point.

Membership Means Something

Getting into the Cult isn't automatic.

New users go through a voice verification process before receiving membership, followed by a probationary period. This isn't about judging who someone is... it is about making sure that new members understand what the Cult is and, just as importantly, that the Cult is a good fit for them.

Active participation is an important part of membership. The Cult is built around people actually being here; not simply collecting another Discord server in their list.

Privacy Comes First

The Cult is a private community.

Members trust each other with conversations, experiences, jokes, opinions, and sometimes things that they wouldn't necessarily share in a public internet community.

That trust matters.

Recording, screenshots, streaming, downloading, or sharing Cult content outside the community is prohibited. Members are expected to respect the privacy and confidentiality of everyone who participates.

What happens in the Cult stays in the Cult.

Respect the Rabbit. Respect Each Other.

The Cult brings together people from different backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life.

That doesn't mean everyone agrees.

It means everyone is expected to respect one another.

Discrimination, hate speech, harassment, deliberate disruption, and behavior intended to create division have no place here. The Cult encourages members to set aside unnecessary conflict and personal differences so everyone can enjoy the community.

More Than a Discord Server

The Cult has games, voice chats, entertainment, community activities, statistics, events, inside jokes, ridiculous traditions, and enough Rabbit mythology to make absolutely no sense to anyone on the outside.

And that's part of the fun.

But underneath all of it is something very real:

The Cult is a community of people.

A place to meet someone new.

A place to find familiar voices.

A place to laugh until you can't breathe.

A place to argue about something completely meaningless and somehow keep talking about it three hours later.

A place to have somewhere to go when you simply don't want to be alone.

The Cult Philosophy

We believe that the best communities aren't necessarily the largest ones.

They're the ones where people matter.

We believe privacy creates trust.

We believe respect creates belonging.

We believe participation creates community.

And we believe that sometimes the best thing you can do on the internet is find a group of people you actually enjoy spending time with.

That's the Cult of the Dead Rabbit.

Private. Selective. Weird. Social.

And absolutely, definitely, unquestionably not a cult.
